BioGaia® Aldermis® is a anhydrous probiotic topical ointment made with just four natural ingredients — plant oils and a probiotic — designed to support and maintain the natural balance of the skin microbiome. Specially developed for dry, sensitive and atopic-prone skin in infants and children from the very first days of life, it is also suitable for the whole family.

Based on more than 30 years of probiotic research, BioGaia has developed Aldermis® to support the skin microbiome and skin comfort from the very first days of life. It is the first probiotic ointment containing . It is the first probiotic ointment containing the well-known probiotic strain Limosilactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 (Protectis®).

Like the gut microbiome, the skin is home to a complex ecosystem made up of billions of microorganisms. Maintaining its natural balance is important for skin comfort. 

Thanks to the unique Longevity Guard™ technology, the full amount of live and active probiotic strains is maintained throughout the product’s shelf life. The ointment can be stored at room temperature (up to 25°C) for up to 180 days after opening.

Apply a small amount to dry or sensitive skin.

Use twice daily or as often as needed.
